Welcome to the website of conductor, countertenor, and educator Benedict Goodall.
Based in the Cotswolds, Benedict specialises in both instrumental and choral conducting, working with professional and amateur groups in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, and the West Midlands. He is a graduate from the University of Birmingham, having enjoyed his time there directing prominent student ensembles.
As a singer, Benedict regularly performs in chamber ensembles, as a soloist, and in symphonic choruses. He frequently sings with professional choirs, having previously been a Stipendiary Clerk at Magdalen College Chapel, Oxford, and a Lay Clerk at Coventry Cathedral and Birmingham Cathedrals.
In 2021 Benedict was selected as one of four members of the NYCGB Fellowship Scheme, and continues to work with the organisation.
